Larkspur Mental Health was founded in 2025 by Lauren Thomann.

Lauren is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner, providing psychiatric medication management services. She has been practicing since 2017 in the Iowa City area.

Lauren has experience caring for those with:

  • mood disorders, including depression and bipolar disorder

  • anxiety disorders

  • psychotic disorders, including schizophrenia

  • ADHD

  • PTSD

  • personality disorders

  • perinatal mental health concerns

  • substance use disorders

Insurance and self-pay accepted.

Reasonable self-pay rates for the uninsured. Contact for information.

We are located in downtown Iowa City in the historic Masonic Building.
