Lauren Thomann, DNP, ARNP, PMHNP-BC
ABOUT LAURENLauren is a native Iowan and has called Iowa City home for the past 20+ years. She has worked as a psychiatric nurse practitioner since 2017, holding positions with the local community mental health center and in an academic medical center. She earned a bachelors, masters, and doctoral degree from the University of Iowa.
Lauren has spent her career serving those across the socioeconomic spectrum, treating those with moderate to severe mental illness. She takes into account an individual’s personal life factors when treatment planning, connecting patients to local resources, adjunctive treatments, and skilled therapists when needed. Her passion is delivering evidence-based care in a judgment-free environment.
